Understanding Trauma, Anxiety, and Scrupulosity

Trauma, defined as any extraordinary disruption of a person’s inner world, can be the beginning of emotional distress and mental illness. Anxiety disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) can be a result of trauma. Scrupulosity is a form of OCD that gets wrapped up in conscience issues, making it difficult for very good people to be at rest. We want to unpack why, what, when, and where, along with how to treat it effectively.
