As 21st century godly women, we desire deep relationships, a place in the community, and a purposeful calling. Are these legitimate desires or should our primary focus shift toward God’s kingdom? How does one seek God’s kingdom in a competing technological world of instant connection and flashy media? Perhaps the story of Dorcas, a woman who held a needle in her hand, and other similar women will give us glimpses what kingdom living is about.
