This review sheet covers the first part of the Sermon on the Mount. The document could also be used as a worksheet or reading guide.

What is God like? Lesson Plan

This lesson plan is focused on teaching students about who God is. Students will be able to describe the shortcomings of certain definitions of God, while also looking at the Bible's description of God.

This lesson addresses the subject of swearing oaths, but it also goes deeper and discusses telling the truth. Followers of Jesus should be characterized by truth, not lies.

Who is God? Test 2

This test assesses student knowledge of God's attributes. It includes matching, definition, short answer, and essay questions.

Characteristics of God Midterm

This test is a cumulative midterm over the attributes of God. It covers methods of revelation, analogies, the Trinity, and characteristics of God.

Characteristics of God Test 4

This test covers worldviews, the Trinity, and attributes of God.

Characteristics of God Test 1

By completing this test, students will demonstrate knowledge of common analogies about God, as well as proofs of God's existence and methods of revelation. Although labeled a test, this could also function as a quiz.

Matthew 5 Test

This test asks students to narrate Jesus' teachings in Matthew 5. The test is in the form of an essay.

Matthew 6 Test

By completing this test, students will demonstrate knowledge of Matthew 6. Students are asked to answer several short answer questions and one longer essay prompt.

Cumulative Exam on "The Sermon on the Mount"

This exam covers Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Students are asked questions related to the Beatitudes, main ideas from each chapter, and general principles from the overall passage.

Inductive Bible Study

This worksheet walks students through three stages of inductive Bible Study: observation, interpretation, and application. The document explains each stage, outlines goals and relevant questions, and gives the procedure to complete it.

Opening Questionnaire for Bible Study Methods Course

This questionnaire is designed as an opening activity for a Bible Study Methods course taught at Faith Builders Christian School. In it, students are given an opportunity to reflect on their experiences with and beliefs about God's Word.

Topical Bible Study Worksheet

This worksheet guides students through the process of studying a topic in the Bible. Students are encouraged to explore what the Bible says before moving to interpretation.

Beginning Bible Study Test

In this test--made mostly of matching--students are assessed on types and features of Bibles, as well as translated names of God and Bible mastery. They are also asked to think about practices to improve their devotional lives.

Test on the Inspiration of Scripture

This test covers divine revelation and the inspiration of Scripture. It mainly consists of short-answer questions.

Bible Translations Test

By completing this test, students will demonstrate knowledge of different Bible translations. The test assesses knowledge of several older and modern Bible translations, including the Vulgate, New International Version, King James, and New King James.

Scripture Interpretation Test

This test covers principles of Scripture interpretation, including distorting Scripture, context, and authority.
