L. Haines and L. W. Yaggy - Miracle at Q Creek Mine by Bill Arnold - Passion, Purpose, and Prayer (poetry collection from Christian Light) - Tech Talk by Gary Miller - Horse Stories from the Man Who Played with Sticks by Johnny Ruhl. These summaries are followed by profiles of the countries of South Africa, Argentina, and Mexico.

Procedures

In this presentation Jaydon Shrock focuses on the importance of procedures in managing a multigrade classroom effectively. He emphasizes that procedures, rooted in biblical principles of order, help maintain discipline, minimize confusion, and create a secure learning environment. His key points include personal holiness, daily routines, classroom management, and specific procedures for devotionals, classes, recess, discipline, and grading. He encourages teachers to pray for wisdom, be consistent, and adapt procedures to their unique classroom needs.

Coping with Criticism

Teachers at church schools sometimes feel like they live in a fishbowl. Parents, school board, students—they are all watching and waiting to pounce. At least, in our worst moments, this is what it can feel like. Criticism is going to come our way. What are we going to do with it?
